Just wanted to say a massive thank you for my sessions.  Having started my fitness journey 2 years ago I was mainly going to fitness classes and often found the gym daunting and couldn’t motivate myself when there.  Matt has given me loads of confidence in my own ability and so much knowledge on different exercises and how to put together a great workout.

I really believe Matt has helped take my fitness to a new level, I can feel and see the difference! I am delighted with the results and can’t wait to keep training and pushing myself with your help. Thanks again!

Choosing Matt as a personal trainer is one of, if not the best decision I have made in my life. It has transformed me.

I had put on a lot of weight after slipping a disc in my back, and really wanted to get fit and lose weight. I was scared to go to the gym and damage my back again.  I was recommended Matt from a work colleague. I previously had a PT so thought I knew what to expect, Matt exceeded all my expectations of a Personal Trainer.

Nutrition; I was a terrible eater, never ate healthy food, but Matt has taught me how to make good choices which are realistic and sustainable. I now do it without really thinking about it, I enjoy a drink believe me! His knowledge on nutrition has helped me still enjoy a drink and treats, but knowing how to control this.

Fitness; I was pretty unfit, actually I was really unfit with recovering from a slipped disc.  Matt worked with my bad back, strengthening it and I managed to shed over a stone in about 6 weeks.  But it’s not just about the weight loss, it’s about confidence, body shape and how I feel. I can now do things that I didn’t think were possible, and Matt continues to challenge me. Next big challenge, Tough Mudder…bring it on!

Matt you are an inspiration. You push and encourage me with your passion for fitness and training, and always make it fun. Thank you for everything you have done to help me get to this point, looking forward to continuing the journey training with you.

Signing up for Personal Training sessions was, admittedly, a bit of a daunting prospect. I have met with several gym employed trainers over the last several years (you know, every time I joined and then ultimately quit said gym) but never found them to be particularly motivational.  Matt, however, is.

I would have quit my current gym months ago if I didn’t have Matt to help get me in the right frame of mind. I might be a fairly slim guy, but I still have hang ups about my body. Matt took the time to actually listen to what I didn’t like about myself and helped me believe I could achieve my goals. Matt put together a training plan that kept me engaged and inspired, as doing the same exercises over and over would have bored me out of the gym. He made me see what my diet was also not doing for me and gave guidance on how I could change that.
It’s not been easy and each session with Matt pushes you, but making changes like this shouldn’t come without challenges. It might be hard work but you know what? I keep going back.
Why? Because I want to achieve results. Initially I might have went into it somewhat half-heartedly but months down the line I am determined and going to the gym is just part of my routine now.

I want to say a massive thanks for all the help and guidance you have provided me with over the last 7 months. All the dietary advice, all the different exercises that have enabled me to become a better and healthier living person, totally opposite to the sad unhealthy bag of crap that bumbled into the gym in May! To think I couldn’t even bend my knees without getting chronic pain in my knees and lower back in our first session, to now squatting 80kgs with NO pain! Also the amazing improvements in my diabetes has truly changed my life for the better.  I wish you all the best for the future mate.
